RESERVATION CONDITIONS

In order to confirm a reservation it is necessary to pay a specified amount as a deposit as reservations guarantee which covers the client's obligations, to apply to the cost of the stay or which may then be used as compensation in case of cancellation or early departure.

The deposit will be a percentage of the total cost of the reservation, taking into account for this calculation: the length of stay booked, the type and number of rooms selected, the number of people who will be staying in the rooms, any additional beds, the prices and any promotions in force at the time of the reservation.

The type of accommodation is always bed and buffet breakfast. The rest of the services are billed additionally and depend on the individual consumption of the client.

The percentage calculated for the deposit for the low and mid season is 20%. The percentage for the high season is also 20% except in the case of the reservation being made 7 days or less before the start of the stay, in this case the percentage rises to 40%.

The dates of each season and the corresponding prices, commercial conditions and taxes in force at any moment are published in the prices web page in Spanish. The information published on this page will prevail over any other in website, even if in other languages.

Son Granot may change the prices of their services on its website after booking. In this case the prices of a formalized and confirmed reservation can not be altered.

In the case of long stays of more than 7 days, there will be a weekly billing for all the services enjoyed. The payment of the weekly billing is essential for the continuation of the stay in Son Granot. Total or partial non-payment will incur the total loss of the deposit and the right to end the contract and proceed to evict without altering the right of the hotel to the reclamation of the outstanding contractual debt owing from the client.

Son Granot will not confirm a reservation until full deposit reception.

When the client or agent accepts the reservation, by deposit payment, agrees to these booking, cancellation and early departure conditions.

All the days indicated are understood to be natural days.

 

CANCELLATION AND ANNULMENT OF RESERVATIONS

The cancellation or annulment of a reservation, by the customer or agent, supposes the return of the deposit according to the following percentages:

  • 100% if communicated 30 days before the commencement of the booking.
  • 75% if communicated between 15 and 30 days before the commencement of the booking.
  • 50% if communicated between 8 and 14 days before the commencement of the booking.
  • If the communication of the cancellation or annulment occurs less than 8 days before the commencement of the booking this will entail the total loss of the deposit.

In the case of partial cancellation (reducing the number of days originally booked) the amount of refund of deposit will be amended according to the number of days canceled for total days reserved.

The banking costs generated by cancellation of reservations will be the responsibility of the client. In all cases the corresponding receipt will be remitted to the address provided by the client on booking.

EARLY DEPARTURES POLICY

The cancellation of a reservation or reduction in the number of days by the customer or agent, once started the stay, will not entail any return of the deposit made understood as initial compensation for damages and losses incurred, without prejudice to claim by any means, these damages and losses (tangible, intangible and financial) generated by the client.

Additionally, it will be issued an invoice for all charges and services incurred including all those relating to accommodation and breakfast during the stay. The customer must pay this invoice completely before departure. It wil be not deducted any part of the deposit made.

Son Granot, once the client informs of its intention to leave earlier, has the right to terminate the contract and proceed with the eviction without prejudice to claim the debt owed by the customer by any means.

 

CANCELLATION AND ANNULMENT OF RESERVATIONS MADE BY TRAVEL AGENTS AND OTHER AGENTS

In the case that the reservation has been made by a travel agent, tour operator or any other agency, the same prices and conditions apply.

In addition, 100% of the booking must be paid, according to the method used to calculate the deposit, 7 days before the commencement of the stay on the part of the client. The non-completion of this condition will lead to the total cancellation of the reservation and the loss of the deposit, with no right of reclamation and without altering the possibility of exercising the reclamation of damages. This amount paid of 100% planned stay will not be refundable if there is a booking cancellation in advance or not, customer not show, reduction of stay for their part, or other causes not originated by Son Granot.

The travel agency, tour operator or other agent must accept and resolve all reclamations incurred by their clients originating from the non-conformation with the reservation policy and cancellation of Son Granot, with the entire indemnity of the establishment.

To start the reservation process through a travel agent, tour operator or other agent it will be necessary to send an e-mail to the Hotel Rural Son Granot indicating that the travel agent, tour operator or other agent is in complete accordance with the terms indicated in the reservation and cancellation policies.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with the Ley Orgánica 15/1999, 13th December, Proteccion de Datos de Caracter Personal (Personal Data Protection Act) we inform that the personal data provided during the reservation process will be included in an automatic personalised file which is used facilitate the making of reservations, publicize the services on offer to clients and the client fidelity programme.

 

We guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data provided in accordance with the data protection act regarding confidential and personal data and to adopt the necessary measures to prevent their alteration, loss, unauthorized treatment or use. The right of access, rectification, cancellation and access may be undertaken in Hotel Rural Son Granot with prior written notice to Hotel Rural son Granot, Carretera Sant Felip, 07720 Es Castell, Minorca, Spain, or by e-mail ( hotel @ songranot.com ).
