Gardens of the boutique hotel in Menorca
Son Granot Gardens have a surface area of 10,000 m2 and are of a distinctly Mediterranean, where there are plants indigenous to the island of Menorca with two large lawns and palm trees. There are chamomile and other herbs that are harvested for use in the preparation of our dishes and teas.
Integrated in the garden are two "eras" perfectly preserved and where once traditional performing agricultural work. There are also several places where you can sit and read or just pass the time accompanied by the joyful sound of a fountain.
In the garden there is also the garden and changes according to the time of year, as before. Biological grown so many of the ingredients for our dishes: many varieties of tomatoes, lettuce, courgettes, cucumbers, eggplant, peppers, beans, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, radishes, melons, watermelons
Distributed by the garden are in turn fruit trees like lemon, fig and almond.
Customers who visit can enjoy the experience of walking through a garden full of colors or just wasting time on the pergola overlooking the estate and its gardens and the sea beyond.
The whole is surrounded by the rest of the farm: Menorca field with pine trees and wild olives (ullastres). Some dry walls (Menorca typical construction for closing and protecting fields) are built on the remains of the eighteenth-century British defenses.
In this space there are different animals such as horses, chickens and peacocks.
